Year-round Youth Soccer Class Overview

Around the year, we offer weekly youth soccer classes for all ages with various purposes and time commitments. We train athletes on soccer fundamentals skills (such as dribbling, passing, shooting, ball control, balance, body movement, foot/eye coordination) and help them gain better understanding of teamwork, collaboration and sportsmanship.

Our classes are organized by different age groups with age-appropriate coaching focuses. Nature of our training session is: upbeat, encouraging, stimulating, and fun. Each session involves many short water breaks, short demonstration, and lots of player participation. We make sure that every player has a ball. And those training sessions, though fun in nature, must have a defined objective that match player  age group's physical, psychological, and mental characteristics.

Pre-Soccer (U5-U6)

Kick and pass! Pre-Soccer helps youngsters develop a lifelong love of soccer while they begin to learn playing on a team. Our curriculum includes energetic, all-inclusive games that teach young kids the basics about playing with a group. In addition to building their soccer skills, Pre-Soccer kids begin learning the fundamentals of good sportsmanship through sharing, passing and being aware of other players.

Pre-Soccer classes are 45 minutes long and we meet once a week.

Soccer I (U7-U9)

Time to scrimmage! Soccer 1 teaches all the basics of soccer — dribbling, passing, receiving, shooting and everything in between. Soccer 1 is well-suited to the first-time player, while still being fun and engaging for kids who already have soccer experience. In Soccer 1, youth will begin playing small-sided scrimmages where they will learn more about teamwork and playing as part of a group. Our instructors keep the atmosphere fun, friendly and non-competitive, making sure that all the kids feel good about their abilities.

Soccer 1 classes are 60 minutes long, and we meet once a week.

Soccer II (U10-U12)

A great introduction to competitive soccer, Skills and Scrimmages teaches advanced skill building such as dribbling, passing and shooting in a team format, as well as an introduction to goal-tending. Kids will scrimmage and learn to play together as a team. From defense and mid-field to forward and goalie...kids get exposure to playing every position and have a blast doing it. Appropriate for players of varying skill levels.

Skills & Scrimmages classes are 60 minutes long, and meet once a week.

Soccer III (U13-U15)

A perfect class for older kids who want the most fun out of their soccer experience. These once a week classes offer the thrill of match play without the intense competition and time commitment of competitive league play. The experience here is focused on match play - small sided scrimmages with fast-paced action refereed by our professional coaches. Teams are formed at each meeting and vary from week to week encouraging players to develop individually in a variety of positions and with a variety of teammates. Instruction is offered throughout game play.

Match Play classes are 60 minutes long, and meet once a week.

Bi-Quarterly Soccer Games

Besides of our regular weekly soccer practice, bi-quarterly soccer game is the other very important part of our  year-round program. We organize two set of games each season. First set of games take place in the middle of each season starting around the middle of September and ending around the end of October. The second set of games are scheduled at the end of the season starting around  the middle of March next year and ending around the end of April(as illustrated as below). Each set of games consists of 5-6 games, depending on how many players participate in the games and how many teams are formed. Our parent volunteers usually serve as team coach to help organize the games.
